Martha Hazzard Decker is a retired police detective and assistant chief of police. Decker also went to Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute for command staff training. She also received training on statement analysis. She is a Texas law enforcement certified instructor, was a SWAT member and negotiator as well as a rescue diver. Her specialty was domestic terrorism and crimes against children. Decker was also on the North Texas Anti-Terrorism Task Force. She also is retired from the State of Texas where she worked as a special investigator. She investigated serious cases of child abuse and child death along with being on the speaker panel and on the Anti-Human-Trafficking Task Force. Decker has been a process server for 11 years. She was a volunteer fire fighter where she was the training coordinator and public information officer. Recently she again became a volunteer firefighter. Decker has been a private investigator. She is an award-winning journalist, best-selling author, and published photographer. Decker is the founder of East Texas Paranormal and considered an empath. She has investigated the unexplained for over 30 years. Decker investigates a variety of paranormal or supernatural cases with private individuals and businesses. She works with law enforcement agencies regarding unsolved crimes and missing persons. Decker and her team have investigated possible activity for several cities. She recently completed the first book in a three-part series on Haunted Hill House in Mineral Wells, TX. The first book in the best-selling series is Haunted Hill House Where Spirits Speak. Decker will release a revised version of Paranormal Profiling with advanced interview techniques in 2023. Decker can be heard on a number of radio shows and podcasts. She often speaks at conferences around the country.
